After releasing her debut singles "Aguanta Migranta" and "No Exotice" in 2022, Peruvian drag queen based in Madrid, Gad Yola, is back with her third single and music video, titled "Travesti del Perú." This track will be featured on her upcoming album.

The music video, filmed in Gad Yola's neighborhood in the heart of Lima, takes viewers on a journey through the history, celebration, and struggles of Peruvian transvestism. Starring Vicky Ríos, a multidisciplinary trans actress, and Toñizonte, a historical figure in Peruvian drag, the video is filled with powerful references to queerness and LGBTQ+ activism.

Currently working on her first EP, Gad Yola continues to explore themes of reflection and empowerment. In "Travesti del Perú," she honors the work of Giuseppe Campuzano, a key figure in Peruvian transvestism and the creator of the traveling "Museo Travesti del Perú."

With three singles under her belt—"Aguanta Migranta," "No Exotice," and "Travesti del Perú"—Gad Yola is making a strong statement in both the music and drag scenes.
